Motorcycles Unlimited was a well-known dealer. They sold the largest number of Norton motorcycles for NVC dealers for several years and their workshop (and racing efforts) had a valued reputation; Brian Slark says that they were among the dealers that he could depend on for quality service work.
I never knew or worked with Ed Brooks when I worked at NTC but that was "late in the game" and things could have changed by then.

I just purchased a 1969 R. It is pretty much complete. I also own a 1970 Roadster so I know the what the cosmetic differences are. The R has the fiberglass roadster tank in red or blue. It also has the silver metal flake tail light, fastback oil tank and side cover, rubber gators on the forks. Mine has chrome headlight brackets. I am not sure if they all had them or some were black. It also has the black chain guard. The s and roadster went to a slimmer chrome guard. A question I have for you is the headlight dimmer switch. It should be a wipac switch. My question is on yours does it have 1 button (black) or 2 buttons 1 black and one green. 70 roadsters and S have a green button for a headlight flash.
