I should have mentioned above that they're mounted on a 1/4" bolt on the "z"-plate immediately above the rear footrest hanger bolt (shown in photos).
I think Mk3's already have a hole there on the RHS - anyway, very easy drilling.
Made a 2.5mm SS plate and a spacer tube to get the horn in the "right" position. Used Loctite Blue to ensure they stay put.
These units have a higher current draw so I put a small relay in the headlight bucket - very little wiring mods. Use the horn button wire to 86, grounded 85, 12V power to 30 and connected 87 to the horns (most will know this - but some may find it useful - all(?) relays have these terminal numbers). BTW mine is negative ground/earth.
This horn position directs unobstructed noise forward and does not interfere with passengers feet.
