Bike is not running rich now and was flying at Cadwelll. Just holding on to OHC 500s. Turned out the Boyer black box was the problem doing some odd things - fitted a new box cured what apeared to be carb problems.
I’ve 32mm and 30mm mk2’s both new and new chrome slides. All fine when cold but after 5 mins running just holding the revs at the low end - dropping after 5 seconds. New cable, no sharp bends and snaps shut when off even with the motor fully warm. Still did it with a wrist breaking strong spring.
Anyway I’m pensioning off the 350 for now as it’s too peaky for hill climbing. Putting a Jawa 500 in until I find time to build the Norton into a 500.
Mk2 Amal’s are being sold and will fit a Mikuni if someone can advise the jetting and needle setup. Or a Dellorto.
