Hi there,
One year already and still full of optimism.
Last sunday I was co-organizer for a Cafe Racer Day in Waterloo, Belgium.
The weather was good, 20 degrees Celsius and sunny.
A few hundreds bikes joined Waterloo for the third edition from the Cafe Racer Day.
Christian, Bruno and myself where the Jury for the election of the three “Best in Show”
The first place went to the magnificent 1960 Velocette Thruxton Cluman from Luc.
The second place go to a very sexy Enfield Continental GT with full Avon fairing.
Third place go to a very exclusive Paton road bike with Kawasaki engine, only 26 will ever be made.
Of course the bikes from the Jury members where not allowed to participate.
Waterloo is about 50kms from my home, but what a joy to ride the Sunburst and you know what? When I arrive somewhere, most of the riders know that I need some help to step down from the Seeley, sometime a unknow biker comes and help me to put my bad leg over the bike, this give such a good feeling, thanks guys!
As long as riding the Sunburst will help me to forget the pain, I will be the happiest man in the world
Keep you posted
