LED turn signals stay solid when engage

I install 4 new LED turn signals on my 74 roadster. I didn't change the flasher relay. When i engage the blinkers, they stay solid right or left, all four of them.

Do i need a flasher relay for LED or a LED RESISTOR KIT?

First try just a new LED flasher can; if it still lights all 4 units, then you'll need resistors. BTW post a pic.

Pilot lamp is going to back feed. You'd need to add diodes too.

Hi phliper.
LED's are diodes. The pilot if fitted should be LED too.

Using an LED specific flasher relay, this will work fine...

I'm only showing the "front" flashers, for the rear ones, just connect them at the same point as the front ones.
