Leaking fuel line at carb

I still have the originals on mine, 50 years old now and they don't leak. I am more concerned of them getting brittle.

same on my 72. Don't leak a drop.

FYI, I had the ss drain plugs shake loose, the plastic ones never did. I suppose engine vibration shaking the heavier steel causes them to loosen

I have seen a UTube video from a Triumph rider I believe, showing how his new Amal Premiers had defective stainless drain caps...with the threaded section visibly out of square to the cap flange head. Certainly explained why it leaked.
