Ignition Timing Setup Boyer

The golden rule is non resistor plug with analogue EI and points, if its a Digital EI then you need resistor plugs.

So Boyer black box is analogue, Boyer red and blue boxes are digital.

The digital ones have a chip which can be influenced by the emf from non resistor plugs.

The alternative to resistor plugs are resistor caps.

If it's an analogue MKIII or MKIV Boyer it doesn't need either resistor plugs or wires or caps.
