Wahoo, I wasn’t dreaming and I’m not totally losing it...

I know u can trick up the RR to look like a SS by chroming it up all over for £2000, the agony of choice eh, let’s hope we see a few on the road instead of itemsof furniture.Wahoo, I wasn’t dreaming and I’m not totally losing it...

Mine will definitely get used as it's meant to be, and no it won't be chrome.I know u can trick up the RR to look like a SS by chroming it up all over for £2000, the agony of choice eh, let’s hope we see a few on the road instead of itemsof furniture.
Saw and heard the first one built as it was at the National Motorcycle Museum open day today. Stuart garner & John McGuiness on stage talking about it too. Looked nice and sounded crisp but way out of my price range and the riding position would cripple me! The first lot are all sold though.

Clive,
What do you mean by "modified long open exhausts", have you made them louder ? if so how.
I have them fitted and would like just a little more noise . I'm not a fan of the short pipes , they just don't look right to me. (awaiting flak, blah, blah )

My secret is out - I got the factory to build the first section, which normally has perforated tube and wadding, with straight through tubing. Large section absorption silencer as normal. Expanding gasses go round the corner into the main section with a straight line out the back for the higher frequencies. Arrived at design through parallel processing gas flow modelling and 4D finite element analysis. Ok so maybe I just guessed it.....
Very pleased with the sound - a nice bark but not mega loud for normal riding.
Who made this system BritTwit ? Is it from John Snead ?Since we're polluting this V4 thread with opinions about the size of our 961 silencers.
Don't forget, shape counts too.
My fantasy 961 pipes/silencers:
