Anyone going? I have never been to the Hansen Dam rally, will check it out this year. It's the same day as the Best of France & Italy at Woodley Park in Van Nuys. Since it's 30 minutes drive away I can do both, I think. I won the 'cleanest and most original Fiat with my '72 Fiat 124 Sport Coupe around 2002 or so. It is quite a show, Jay Leno's garage has some videos on it. I wonder if he goes to Hansen Dam too.

I'm planning to be there.

I've seen Jay Leno there, but I don't know if he goes every year.

It's a good show, and the ride is fun.

I'm in. Several years back we went and ran into Leno at the Dam. He invited us to that venue. We rode over and did it too.
That was a long day from Orange County..

FYI: The All Brit rally starts the day before Hansen Dam in Novato, CA. If there is any interest I will post the information about this run, if it is a nice day we should get over a hundred bikes. Has to be British, new or old, anything else will get a lot of attitude. GREAT roads and camaraderie.

I am going this year. Will be on BSA SR or 750 commando. Looking forward to it…

I'll be coming from Mission Viejo. I can ride the N15 anywhere, but it's annoying and super tiring to deal with those freeway rain grooves, and my son is coming with me so I will trailer it. I have the Dunlop K70s and they are the worst tire ever, IMO, on those grooves. It's beyond squirrelly, it's dangerous. And in general they aren't very good, wish I'd gotten something else. Oh well they look cool!

I'll be there. Same bike as in the photo. Looking forward to catching up with old friends and meeting new people.

On the way to California for Hansen Dam. Stopped in AZ to see Grand Canyon and friends

Hanson Dam 45 is in the Books.
Weather was wonderful with a Great turn out.
Someone we know took Best 1961 Brit
The Webmaster himself Jerry Doe.

Then he gets....Best of Show Brit....

BTW this is a Big show, lot's of nice bikes.
Jerry is so Humble he kept saying he couldn't believe it.
Well, doesn't surprise anyone who's seen the build and or the Bike.
Jerry did bring the bike to Show it off, not necessarily to 'Show It.'
When entering the venue, they had to talk him into showing. 'Well, Ok,'
Why a 1961 A-10? 61 is is his birth year. He'll have to fill in on the A-10.
One more thing, Jerry rode to the show from Orange County, not a Trailer Queen.
CONGRATS AND WELL DONE JERRY....

More Hanson Dam 45.
I'm not a big picture taker. This is just a smidgeon.
Some Nortons, and others that interest me.

Looks like a good turnout. Sorry I didn't make it there as I had planned.

It was great to see all the bikes and people, and the weather cooperated. Quite an eclectic mix of bikes, fantastic! First time I've seen a 588. Toward the end, a guy pulled in on a Ducati Superleggera V4 - a $100K bike. Wow.

I didn't make the ride afterward because I planned to go over to the Best of France and Italy at Woodley Park in Van Nuys to drool over the Lancias and other favorites. Jay Leno was there with his crazy 18.5 liter Hispano Suiza. That made a racket. He's looking a lot better these days.

I didn't take many pics but, ahem, here is a gratuitous one of my N15. It was a bit cool on Saturday and my son, who is still getting the knack of it, ran it around the block with the (Mikuni VM34) enrichener on. Big no-no. So I'm kicking the damn thing over 20x to get it running at the show. How embarrassing. It always starts when cold with a single kick, enrichener down (on), key off, then enrichener up and key on, boom. Took me till I got home to put 2+2 together. Plugs were soot-city and now back to normal ops.
