Getting a cNw starter kit and wonder if this ham can would fit?

Mike, I know it would be wishful thinking. I wish Matt R. would make a Modified front plate with the oval filter and screen going in the horizontal direction with some smaller diameter filter and screen that would clamp to the same two bolts to the back plate. Just thinking out loud. 🤔Now, who has a Solid Edge or Solidworks package to find something that fits?
Thanks anyway for the comments.
Maybe more could respond. Its only just the first day.
Cheers,

Tom

Hey Guys
I will miss my ham can filter once I put this starter kit on my bike which I am still waiting. Matts still making up parts to complete the order.
Has anyone tried this set up from RGM and make it fit? https://www.rgmnorton.co.uk/buy/com...-air-filter-assembly-stainless-steel_4475.htm
Other suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Tom
Won't fit. Matt has filters that work and if he's out I have them from him. They don't look like hamcans though - they look like the discontinued K&N filter.

At the risk of changing the topic, British Cycle (in Canada) also carries the narrow K&N clone that will work with the CNW starter.
Yes,

They and Matt went in together to have them made. The ones of those I have are really for my builds - makes little sense to ship just that as I paid almost full price. Although they look like the K&N they are more narrow and much easier to fit.

I don't think they are discontinued (well, they're still listed on the K&N site) - https://www.knfilters.com/rc-1820-universal-clamp-on-air-filter

These RC-1820 filters are what was on mine and I still fit them.
Cheers
That's a single filter, not the filter that is discontinued. If the one below is not discontinued the K&N lied to me and others that is was. It cost way more than Matt's and it is a PITA to get on.

There is some advantage with the twin filters in that they have more filter media area. Just my view.
Cheers
