mr. concours: you are a sick bastid, " taint", and we could easily get along famously. How do you carry your six pack?
The angle of deflection in use would suggest the crack is no big deal, leaks aside and probably not much of a leaker anyways. Thank's LAB for the confirmation.
Given my druthers I would clean as previously mentioned, place a dollup of conformal coating on the crack and vacuum impregnate.
It is thin there.

Why, thank you! A sick mind is a terrible thing to waste I always say. I may do a LP inspection, just for posterity, but visually it looks fine, very localized. Six pack? Why, thumb and middle finger, of course! :mrgreen:
