I am just starting a tribsa project and looking at tanks for the A10 frame. I have access to some triumph tanks to try but they are all too long and/or narrow around the frame, the nearest is the Trail Blazer tank, I don't want a big tank as the project is leaning towards a desert sled style. is there an equivalent tank like the trail blazer one that would fit the A10 frame etc. I really like the American spec T140 shape because of the tapered end by the seat.. any suggestions or pictures would be appreciated please. trying to be slightly different, but I only know a bit about triumphs and Nortons and that is limited knowledge. the TR5T tank is similar but that is similar the the MX 500 Bsa which I think is different style frame. cheers N

I have a friend who put a early Norton tank on his BSA. It looks good on a plunger frame A7.
I can ask him to send me a picture if you want.

How about the standard US West Coast A10 tank? It's small and has a nice shape. Of course it is made for the bike so it bolts right up, everything fits the way it should.

I'm not sure. BSA had a few small tanks that look similar. This one is the stock tank for a 1963 West Coast Super Rocket.
It holds about 10 litres of fuel, not much.
