Boo!
LOL.
Make it yours.
Yeah, it would always bug me wondering if I did the right thing.

I do like red, but I think I’d feel better with the yellow.

As someone I know just told me...”The original Norton PR bright yellow is hard to argue against...”.

Yeah, you shouldnt listen to me about anything, I have alloy bodywork on mine, after all. LOL

I'm going to admire your bike regardless the color because I believe you're building up a winner like RT's combat.
There's always room in this big world for another yellow because they are beautiful... Besides you can always add tasteful personal accents to the paint to make it stand apart from the herd.... Buy yourself an airbrush setup. I bought a really nice used Paasche setup off the Flea for well under a hundred with a compressor + 2 x 12' hose.... all the bottles, needles, & tinker toys too.

I admit, I’m a nut job. I just am. I‘ve been going back and forth and back and forth and I’m back to red.

Haha, really.

I want to be a little different and the red I’ve selected is really nice. I think it will look really good, so I’m back to red.

Let’s see what happens tomorrow...LOl...

As the Winged Nike would say, "Red, just do it!"

Precedent.

Milestone today!!!!!

She’s got sneakers!

If the design idea on these bikes was to make the rear tire easy to remove and reinstall, I think the may have missed that mark.

You’re right, it’s my fairing. It’s a little rough, buts that’s how I like it! Making it mine.

This past week I’ve been doing some fiberglass and bondo. I’ve also been sanding and sanding and sanding.

It’s going to be 70 degrees here in New York tomorrow and I’m going to be doing a lot of painting.

Big day tomorrow!!!

Excited about painting tomorrow. Couldn’t wait to see it with the fairing so I just set everything on the bike so I could take a look.

Pretty happy. I sort of like the patina, but she’s gonna be red!

Wow, this must be my lucky day.

Just checked the mail and I had a small package from the UK!

I got the ears for the seat. Perfect timing. Now I’m just waiting on the upholstery.

Don’t worry, I won’t let the seat sag.

Gotta chance to mess with the fairing bracket. It’s not that bad. I need a little more support. I may have to buy some headlight ears and use them as a brace for the front bracket.

I’m going to have to move it a little higher or say goodbye to what’s left of my back.

Dunstall made a slightly different fairing headstock bracket, a image is somewhere this website, but does not have "ears" for the side support as I remember. Still no hardship to weld some on.

I have made 3 slightly different clamp-on cross braces the the fairing lowers (clamp GENTLY to the front frame downtubes).

It's a lot more hassle to make drop tabs from the gas tank front mount bolts.

Looking good now that all the bodywork is there.
