Fork Yokes (Triple Trees)

Thanks for that bwolfie. It is indeed the part I was talking about in the above post. However since that post I have spoken to RGM (They are always really helpful) who stock the part at a reasonable price and while it will fit my earlier yokes they didn’t see how I would fit it successfully to my commando frame :( .

Thanks
McVic

No, that is a damper, the fork stop is a plate bolted to the frame just below the steering head.

OK now I’m confused again. I thought that was the steering stop as in the picture of the Triton below. That plate stops on the black stop lugs on the underside of the bottom yoke. I spoke to RGM last week and understood there where two similar plates. One which accommodated the through the steering head damper and one that didn’t.

These look the same :?

When you said "the fork stop is a plate bolted to the frame just below the steering head" Do you mean below the steering head or below the bottom yoke?

If it works vaguely like this below the steering head on a Norton I would be really interested in seeing a photo if you have one.

Thanks

Not a good picture, but see the plate bolted right below the steering head, that is what you need.
