uGH Aussie its no help at all for me and Peel but would be if she had room for a Harley shorty carb or even a more vertical QuikSilver-Lextron flat slide that has a dual cable cam and metal ribbon slide mechanism.
The hang up is several fold,
one I can't get away with a vented primary if the vents or cover gap space are down as low as axle level or ingests THE Grit and water in crossings and creek running...
two I can't fit Drouin case plus 40 mm belt drive and retain the crank end alternator w/o spacing Drouin mount out ~1/2", which would prevent manifold reaching the head ports and then would foul on the amount of lean Peel is capable of... IS tank is almost too wide for knee to hug it and miss road rashing... really...
three, Peel is not a dedicated race bike so can't run total loss electrics and only place to put alternator I could figure out is behind the barrel, which takes up room for a carb with a float bowl or side draw throat more than 2.5" long...
four, Lake Injector widow maker has no provision-room for a cam wheel or gear slide mechanism, so can only have a open cable enter top and close cable enter the bottom.
five, its the hand throttle side I need to see examples of, so ya missed photo of the educational part I could use on a Commando.
Here's the set up issues. Note the curved edge of Al sheet in front of the Lake Injector, that's me addition for forced air cooling - with JBWeld bead showing inside that fiber filter will hide.
