fav artists in different genres of music?

Think I have have seen most of the greats from my past only Clapton left and don’t know if that in the cards .... not currently travelling to USA , so limited to who comes to Halifax or Toronto .... here is a fun one , can you remember where you were ,what you were doing the day of total eclipse of the sun back in 1972 in Nova Scotia ,that Carly Simon sang of .......
 
I believe that I was busily sharing a friend's girlfriend that day, or tinkering with my panhead... A toss up because that's a long time ago and I was doing both at the time that took place, although I don't recall which on the particular day. Both were fun though... for a while until the bitching began. Kept the pannie for another year after.
 
I was 13 so God knows what I was tinkering with ! Floyd at Wembley, opposite end of the stadium and it was frying hot. They looked like ants on stage, but good vibes. B.B King was stunning when i saw him.

I saw them in Liverpool in 73 just before release of Dark side of the Moon, they played all of it. They did 3 consecutive nights, I went the middle one . Great night
 
Gonna have to dig out bridge of sighs now ! Not played it for yonks. Or for earth below. Blooming marvellous, didn't they christen him the white Hendrix ?
 
never stops. grand funk railroad, live atlantic city. into the sun. swapped a barcley james harvest album for it in '73. best swap I ever did;)
 
but my favourite American album of all time , goes to ...schools out. Alice cooper. stepped into my dreams, looking hard and feeling mean. took west side story to another level.
