fav artists in different genres of music?

Band called “Horse” from my hometown Truro NS … back in ‘14 they reformed to play at our 40 yr HS reunion , as luck would have it they recorded it and produced a 2CD recording of all their own compositions … it’s online , find the song called “Fisherman “ and give it a listen , kinda a long but you will have a fair idea what it like growing up in our neck of the woods …. sadly a few wks ago Jo and I attended Abbey Aucoin’s funeral services , he was self taught Horse guitar player , in fact the entire band was self taught …. Hope some will take the time to search this out and give it an honest listen ….

Ron Wood was associated with Ron Lane. There is a couple of videos on Youtube which are interesting.

For a highly unusual and very good version of Chuck Berry's "MAYBELLINE" try Chris Smither. There are a few videos of this.

I livein a country town. Every Saturday night on the ABC we have cowboy music. I am always amazed that they can sing a song using only one note. -

Technically excellent... But was she in a hearse??? Turned it into a dirge IMHO :-(

At least Pat Travers sounded like he was making an effort to catch up:

Though you wonder why he didn't buy a Cadillac in the first place:

Good album collaboration with various artists if you like old people making music if you even consider it music
John Lee Hooker, The Healer
No video

Howling Wolf is always good for a gravely folk blues tune
No video

Seems before JLH recorded the: 'Hooker 'N Heat' album with Canned Heat, there was another up and coming young blues and boogie combo who's name was also put in the frame to record with the man..... Status Quo!!
That would've been interesting...
