I well remember going into a local bikers pub in the 1970s. It was, as usual, full of
studded leather jacketed greasers like me, but older and meaner. I put The Israelites
and the B-side on the juke box. It would seem that studded leather jacketed greasers
in the 1970s were not Reggie fans!

It's on my iPod in the car.

Don’t think this Guy been mentioned , yet .... just back from season’s first thumping on the Griso ... walked into house and Jo-Ann had “Jole Blon” blasting on all speakers ! The Gary “U.S. Bonds version from his comeback album of ‘81 ( I think) a duet with Springsteen when he (Boss) still had full voice .... just a great album all round .... produced by Miami Steve with lots of e-street players .... wish I knew how to post vids , no doubt there got to be some from that album titled “ Dedication” , not a bad song on either side !!!!

Just looking at this thread again and thought about Robert Palmer, and while I'm at it how about Eddie Money, he had a few good ones too.

Free.
Paul Kossoff on Come together in the Morning.
Never did someone extract so much pain and torment from a guitar.

F*ckin drugs took him out too young.
Impressive documentary with his father David looking back.
