Factory options and accessories

I notice on the website, you can now see the factory fit options and accessories with their prices.
I was interested in an aluminium tank but was told they weren't available yet. however, on the site they are
now an accessory, albeit an expensive one. I fancy a polished 'Domiracer' style tank and looks like that is now an option.

If I got a Sport I'd want a flyscreen but there is only a carbon fibre option listed. Still more work needed to be done here as I'm sure that a normal flyscreen would be an option.

I'd also like to see tubeless tyres \ wheels as an option...

Anyway, things are changing bit by bit...

BST’s are tubeless, have been available for some time.

These are the carbon fibre ones, right? VERY expensive. I was thinking of alloy rims without spokes.

if you contact Dynamag i am sure they would consider it. axle size is standard among a number of bikes, i.e.: ducati.... would b a cool option

Thanks for the heads-up.
I swapped out the standard wheels on my Thruxton for wider Alpina tubeless 17" front and back. Made a noticeable difference to handling.
They cost me 1500 euros. I got them in black rims and sliver spokes. The Commando have good size wheels, but I prefer tubeless.

I'm guessing the U.S. official Norton website is different than the U.K. site? I'm not seeing any options and accessories on the site. Only the usual helmets, covers and paddock stand as well as some clothing.

...and, although the Davida helmet with the Norton pin striping is really cool, at 325 L, too expensive. I bought the black and gold striped Davida open face from another site for 75L less. Nice helmet. Light and comfy. Cost a lot to ship to the US though.

To be honest i thought there was just one site. I m accessing it from Spain.on the site choose a bike and then from the menu bar click on "Bike Options" on the far right. You'll go down to the accessories which are below the helmets and clothing. Try this link:

For me, the main prob with ordering products from the USA is that they can get stuck in customs, and it s a major pain to get them. Probably the same from UK to USA?
Here's a copy and paste:

Does anyone know what is included in the Black Chassis Pack? I'm getting an SF and would like to know what is standard on it vs. the Black Chassis Pack option?

Probably better to send the Factory an email or call the girl there who's specifically in charge of accessories.

From Norton sales rep:

The Black Chassis pack contains:
Top and Bottom Yoke
Handle Bar Clamps,or Clip Ons
Foot Control Plates
Foot Control Levers.

I wish they would actually show what the options are. Example: polished option, what exactly does it consist of? Polished triple trees, bar risers, foot controls? I'm lost. A picture would be nice.

Hi Simon,

How could I order individual items? Single seat or carbon wheels say.

Have used the contact form on the site a few times but no response.

Based in Australia but not much progress with Fraser dealerships.

Regards.

Hi All

Any parts purchase inquires that you feel are not being looked after by your dealer can be sent direct to callum.doyle@nortonmotorcycles.com

Simon

I just purchased:
Polished top and bottom yolks
Polished top nut
Polished handle bar risers
Polished handle bar clamps
Polished gauge holder
Polished heel plates
Polished foot controls (rear brake and shifter)
Polished pegs
Polished gear box filler plug

Soon I'll also order the aluminum tank and maybe black air box and rear tail housing with silver lettering and striping instead of gold. Or I might go with something besides black. Haven't decided yet.

Correct but I own a machine shop and will drill and tap the new one to accept the fitting.

The new one is alan wrench. No flats. Just so you are aware. You could always just drill into the trans case behind the hump where no one can see.

Richard
Yeah I just received my polished parts from Norton today and you are correct, the trans fill plug is a inverted Allen.

Also, soon I'll be ordering the aluminum tank. I noticed some pictures where the cap is a screw on and I also seen some caps that are Monza style. Do you know if this is an option or are they all screw on caps now?
Also is this a direct swap? Just swap the fuel pump and mount the tank?

Thanks again!
Scott.
