Can’t see anywhere else below the tank where that could possibly be mounted Voodoo? You’d have to think the owner has engineered another solution that we can’t see. I’ve never felt the need for a steering damper, but depends on how the owner is riding the bike I suppose; more bling is always welcome though!

I‘m likin’ the colour scheme also - very distinctive, making the most of the gold highlights.

He has that steering damper mounting clamp so off center, it’s causing more harm than good.
I already know who’s going to be doing this next.
