Not anymore , but during working life , I certainly did , while tearing down and switching out 14” impellers & wear rings on sewer pumps , my second in command preferred A.I. gloves covered his arms to shoulders … mostly he watched , haha ! Dirty job and it paid the bills , shortly before I left , I oversaw redesign of that particular P house , got control computers , variable speed Gorman Rupp pumps , I could have them apart and returned to service under and hour ….. Thanks for bringing the cream up , I think maybe I will pick a can or two up ….Getting past gloves for a minute. ..
Does anybody still use “ Barrier Cream “ these days ?
Before modern skin tight gloves became commonplace and affordable there wasn’t really much else to use for skin protection, at that time the acceptance of heavily engrained skin was waning as of course was the use of a pumice stone .. lol !
