Deer oh deer

Zackly'.
If there is one on the road side you can be 99% sure there are more.
And they will always do the unpredictable. Like run across only to return a few seconds later.
If you spot their beady little eyes glowing in your headlight further ahead slow way down and let them run around in circles until the finally decide move out of the "get run over and die while you destroy my bike" zone.

Last fall my cousin was driving very slowly at dusk knowing that there was a heavy deer population in the wooded area he was travelling and still! Two of them ran head first into the passenger side doors of his new Tundra, damage was over $4000.
He never saw them until the damage was done.
I hit a 900 lb. moose with a MK4 Jetta....šŸ’„
4:30 AM, headed to the airport, I saw a moose crossing the roadway right to left, I braked from 55 down to 30. Missed it.
As I was looking where it went, and patting myself on the back, a second one came and I duffed it.šŸ˜ž

Confirming above, where there is ONE, likely others.

Had to stop for a moose calf on the road. Then the cow looking at her calf didn't notice the car an ran into the side of the car.
No damage to car or moose.
