This raises a good question. in the spring I'll be having my Roadster tank & steel side covers prepped & sprayed Roman Purple Metallic. I would appreciate to know from your experience what colour decals look best on the purple??

The one that looks best is the one you like best, look at pictures of the options and pick the one you prefer.

If you are basing on the correct 69/70 paint scheme the tank decal was black with gold outline and side-covers gold with black outline.

Black, gold, purple. Love it. If I had some spare cash, I would seriously consider painting my crap hirider tank and covers that color just for the fun of it.
