Chaps,

Anyone got experience with a CCM 604e?

This is the Rotax powered dual purpose job from 20 odd years ago.

There was a time when large capacity single cylinder two-stroke bikes were very dangerous.
CCM is Jeff Clews ? - What is a TM400 Suzuki ? I have ridden a 360 Bultaco- it made other bikes go backwards.

Yes, CCM = Clews Competition Machines.

The 604 is a 4 stroke Al.

No one mentioned stink wheels…

DeJa'Vu on the question as well as my answer

I did not have the CCM. I had a street licensed ATK 604e. Electric start is nice. Sprag can go south though. Kick start is on the left side of the ATK.

Rotax 604 is easy to work on. Ported by somebody that knows what they are doing, the Rotax is quick. The ATK had WP suspension, which is probably not relevant. It was a good ride though.

Working out on a versa climber and some kind of machine that builds lats is very helpful if you want to actually ride off road and not always be at the back of the pack. Arm pump is a killer off road.

With a Supertrapp the engine is unbelievably loud.
