Yeah, great descriptive terminology:

ballsy and brawny
..shot of Stoli with something illegal snorted on the side.

I didn't know that the shorty silencers were around back in 2010 when this article was published.
The article also states that the bike should be available in the US later in 2010.
It actually took 3 more years - first bikes arrived in December 2013.

Nice read though.

That's the point , a nice read . There are so few bikes that we can't get any coverage or development from the aftermarket. I hope that changes. I figure that once broken in my bike should be able to run 135mph . That is simply based on the 17 mph per 1000 rpm . Ive read that some guys are only getting 124 out of it . That seems too low , my my goodness my Thruxton with just a NARK and Arrows will do that.

Even with stock pipes/efi mapping is lean for evironmental regs.
But the bike pulls hard in 5th gear and seems strong enough to reach redline.
That should be good enough for 130's.
Also the test bike in the mag is an SE with carbonfiber wheels.
It should be about 20 lbs lighter than a normal Sport, SF, or CR with wire wheels.

I already clipped 122 with plenty room to spare. I just chickened out since I was on a public road. I guessing 130ish +. Great article. Nice to read a report like that instead of my own crap.

I am sure the bike that they got to ride with the open Motads had the ECU mapped right and running strong. There is a problem getting a good map here in the states. That bike can probably run 140.
