Banking crisis next?

You’ll have to excuse Paul, for in his part of the country they have a lot of Mexicans without documentation. Of course, those good ‘Mericans, like Paul, love to hire these undocumented Mexicans, paying them much less than a legal worker, then denigrate them for being here. See, Republicans, again like Paul, are missing the brain receptor that recognizes hypocrisy.
You haven't the first bloody clue what you are talking about.

I've never hired an UNDOCUMENTED worker. Everyone I've hired that was not a US Citizen, had LEGAL AUTHORIZATION to be working in the U.S. And, besides paying them fairly for their labor, I fed them, gave them tools from time to time, and gave them other things that ordinarily would have gone to goodwill or garage sales. I'm not talking about junk/trash, either.

JimC is obviously mistaken in more than one area, besides not being able to answer a basic question truthfully.

Casting aspersions is definitely against forum policy. I think I've heard MORE than enough from you.

I agree with you Paul. There is no place for personal attacks here.

Where did I claim you hired an undocumented worker? I did call you a good ‘Merican.

Now that you’ve become so defensive I’m beginning to wonder.

Dang it, @Jerry Doe is going to have to come out of the garage to shut down the thread. Sorry, Jerry!

And thus, like the banking crisis for which it is named, this thread shall end not with a bang, but with a whimper...

This is SUPPOSED to be a country WITH LAWS, set forth in our constitution, and enacted by representatives, on our behalf, for OUR benefit.

"undocumented" is a sickening euphemism for ILLEGAL.

Humanitarianism aside, ILLEGAL is ILLEGAL. If a majority of the people thought it should be legal, it would have been changed by now. The fact of the matter is, a majority of the people, the ONES WHO PAY TAXES AND FINANCE THIS COUNTRY'S ACTIVITIES, still believe that people who do not enter the country LEGALLY, should be returned to their country of origin as immediately as possible, at minimum additional expense to the taxpayers.

As for humanitarianism, I personally donate to various organizations that assist the less-fortunate. I also personally assist in these activities from time to time, so I put my arms and legs AND MONEY where my mouth is. (unlike TALKING about "marching in the streets", without actually MARCHING in the streets)

Lastly, as far as TAXPAYER DOLLARS being used for humanitarian aid, I believe it is COMPLETELY WRONG to send a single dollar, MUCH LESS BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of dollars helping people in other countries (and of course WATCHING large chunks of that aid being skimmed off the top by corrupt officials), BEFORE we help the hundreds of thousands in THIS country who are in worse conditions. The saddest of all is that MOST (don't claim I generalized and said "all") of the people suffering in THIS country are either A) U.S. military veterans, and/or B) living and defecating in the streets in historically democrat-controlled districts.

With the exception of every democrat politician running for the nomination. ALL put their hands up when asked "who will provide FREE healthcare to ILLEGAL ALIENS?"

These very words? I would hope Americans as well as America would be bigger than this at any time ,but especially when facing a potentially catastrophic virus

If you were half as disturbed about those (not you) who hire those illegals as you are about the illegals themselves, I’d give you praise. This is not a one way equation. Anyone with a lick of sense know the overwhelming majority of those crossing the US/Mexican border illegally do so for EMPLOYMENT! Yet, nowhere do I see you advocating punishing those who employ illegals.

If the United States were to fine anyone who hires an undocumented worker 100% of their net worth the illegal border crossing would all but cease to exist. Legalize drugs and the remainder of illegal border crossing would end.

I have two MAGA hats. One to shit in, the other to cover it up.
