I don't ride more than 2500 miles per year on the Commando. I 'm cheap on insurance. Condon and Skelly allows up to 2500 miles per year for club rides only and they charge $70/year for full coverage with $7K agreed value in case it gets stolen or destroyed.

So you would fall into the 0 to 1000 group. Maybe LAB should edit that to 10 to 1000, but then again that wouldn't be nice to be excluded just because someone is in the middle of a process.

Ya know, the instructions said it is OK to estimate. In your case guess-timate. That's ok by me. But be honest.

Holey Cow. They're charging me $120/year for the same thing. And I live in the boonies. Maybe it's the age.

maybe we should of had a " how many miles does your Norton do in the back of a pickup going to club rides and shows" poll?

I didn't ride mine much in 2012 because I was giving it a once-over. In the three years I've had it on the road, I've covered 12,000 miles. Done about 500 since restarting just before Thanksgiving.

I've done about 3500 on the Ranger in about 18 months

'06 Triumph has almost 40,000 miles on it, but only about 6000 in the past two years.

I try to rotate them so each gets regular use to keep them in shape, and I want to keep the miles low on the Ranger, but its hard to do - its actually a lot easier to ride around town than the Commando - taller saddle so knees not as bent, more progressive clutch, can turn around in about 12' circle.

About 2000 miles per year for my Nortons. I have 5 other bikes and I like to ride them all, so none of them accumulate big mileage. The last few years it's been a bit less than 2000 miles because I changed jobs and have a much shorter commute now. 8)

The miles I do put on are all under the Norton's own power, just not that many. Typical club ride is 70 miles of riding then do the ride then 70 miles home.

I'm glad I'm not the only person with MMD - multiple motorcycle disorder.

I keep a close eye on mileage as so I know when to change oil. Did just over 5k miles in 2012 on my MK2 A. Most of it was at the beginning of the year as I put my back out and could not start it later in year. I have the cheap collectors insurance too but have gone way over quota. I need another tacho.

Vintage insurance n.l.a. here in Toronto ? So it's a 0 and insured the Beemer. One good thing I get to work on Crazy. There's always the future. Plus they raised the insurance as am in an older age bracket now. One bike or the other.

I got my 74 last January with 3,400 ORIGINAL miles on the odometer. This past riding season I put about 3,800 miles on it in only 7 months. Other than routine maintenance and fiddling with the Amals it was a great nearly daily rider.

6000 miles since September 2011 , not to bad as I am out of the country six months of the year!
Regards Mike
