Sorry for the delay in answering. Had a little surgery interfere. Nothing serious.

The pictures are from Kenny Dreer, back when they were doing the prototype. The gearbox was essentilaly a Baker HD unit, and the crank was a pressed-together item Falicon did, using some Rotax bits, IIRC. I'm not surprised the new one is different. I talked to Stuart a bit this year at Bonneville (He's quite an enthusiast, by the way), and he mentioned doing a lot of detail design changes from the package they got from Norton America. He seemed a little miffed that there wasn't much standardization in the design drawings that came along with the purchase. He said they had to re-do all of them in a modern format, and made a lot of design changes in the process. It's clearly not just the old Kenny Dreer design rushed into production. I'd buy one in a flash if I could afford to.

I supose we will eventually get to see some pictures of the engine internals, but enquiring minds want to know now.
