Hi
I am in a contrary regarding the correct stays and bridges for my 1963 650SS short front mudguard.
Stays I have bought are too short by 5/16" and not, sure on the bridge.
From my 1963-1965 parts book
So from my 1961-1962 parts book 7" fork centres.
So Can anyone confirm the correct length of the stays and bridges for the short sided front mudguard, I am leaning towards the Norvil parts?
At least if the stays are too long I might be able to slot the hole back or something.
Best Regards
Burgs

From my 1963-1965 parts book
- Stays [HASHTAG]#19291[/HASHTAG] 11 1/4" centre distance too short x by 5/16", 5/8" diameter
- Bridge [HASHTAG]#030254[/HASHTAG] "Stainless dommie flat front mudguard bridge with dimpled sides. These have 2 slotted holes in the top of the stay where it would mount to the mudguard" fits OK, Parts book listed [HASHTAG]#24984[/HASHTAG]
So from my 1961-1962 parts book 7" fork centres.
- Stays [HASHTAG]#19291[/HASHTAG] Norvil list a 019291SS at 12" long, seems too long but
- Bridge [HASHTAG]#19282[/HASHTAG] Norvil List NM19282 Stay - mudguard bridge - for 7" wide forks - pre 1964
So Can anyone confirm the correct length of the stays and bridges for the short sided front mudguard, I am leaning towards the Norvil parts?
