I was at Pembrey and in three of those races that Gary was in, albeit in the PC750 class that started behind them...

Gary lapped me at the end of two of the races, just going on to the start finish straight....he could have done me a favour and sat up, instead he passed me and looked back to find absolutely no one in sight but me!

Extreme? He was trailing huge sparks all the way past me, and Pembrey has a really really long left, double left really.....he was seen trailing sparks all the way round that too.....

Oh well...I did manage to stay unlapped in the other race and took two 5ths and a 4th in my class....improvement over last year so that what we need...

Getting sparks on a Norton racing frame is some very serious leaning. Back in the mid 1980s I remember measuring my grind marks with a protractor - 53 degrees (past 45) with the suspension bottomed. I managed it on rare ocasions. It sounds like Gary does it at will.
