Looking for AVON RoadRider MK2 Tires in USA

This is the RR-MK2 range available in the UK

which includes the 100/90-19.

So the tyre is made so now needs to be shipped to the US if it has not already left.

The 90/90 has about an inch less diameter than the 100/90.

So you’ll lose about half and inch of ride height. This will steepen the rake angle and make it turn a bit quicker, as will the smaller diameter.

It’s also a lot narrower, which again will quicken the turn in etc.

But the effect will be small and I doubt you’ll notice much difference on the street.

An inch smaller and and a chunk narrower will be noticeable visually though, it will detract from the aesthetics somewhat.
Based on this comment, I need the 100/90.

I require the 100/90-18.

What happened to "discontinued"?

Did your mechanic ever give a reason for going to 18" rather than 19" in front?
The Amazon seller was clearly FOS.

The rims are not standard Norton, but were put on by Dave Degens from Dresda, so I'm assuming mechanic chose the correct sizes.

AVON answered.

The 100/90-18 are not discontinued. They come in two speed ratings:

100/90-18 56H - very low stock (production starts Dec 2025)
100/90-18 56V - no stock (production starts Dec 2025)

So, some 56H are available now, 56V is not. Next production run of both is Dec 2025

All RoadRider MKII tires listed in the 2024 product lineup are still being produced.

A couple of dealers told me they are back in stock end of this month, so we shall soon see.

Thanks for the update.

I think it works like this. A shipment from Avon in France is arriving to Turn 14 (US distributer) later this month. Once Turn 14 has them, the dealers will be able to get them.

https://www.turn14.com/ but without a dealer account, there is no info to be had.
