I believe Ken has experimented with Don's rearsets and the folding lever with no success.
I use Don's rearsets with a MKIII lever and have no issues.

Many Thanks Acadian,
So without checking will the Mk 3 lever fit Pre Mk3 kick start shaft?
Does the Madass kit remove the need to use the original Z plates, or are these something you have had made up as you have high mounted exhausts??
The kick start lever is backwards compatible AFAIK. My Z plates are custom, Don's rear sets still require a mounting point relative to the stock footrest hanger.

straight Bolt-on, works great on a Interstate with low Euro bars (didn't like the setup as much on a roadster), I did some custom bushes/spacers, on the outer primary cover OEM shifter shaft and Hyde shifter pivot to remove some slop. I also shortened the front Hyde shifter leg to get less overall movement. All those things can be overlooked, see what you like first.Great pics, thanks guys..!
Will these require any drilling into the z-plates? Also, do either of you have these mounted on an Interstate? My hope is that the Hyde setup is not a full “rearset” per se but perhaps a good compromise. They appear to me to be not as far back as other rearset options, no?
