Less than 10 break-in miles on a complete mechanical refurbishment
Matching numbers frame, engine and gearbox
Engine
Standard cylinders honed and new Hastings rings, new rod insert bearings, AMR wet sump mod (still wet sumps if not ridden), new standard cam and refaced lifters, new crank hardware, new gaskets and seals, carbs rebuilt with new jets and stay-up floats, K&N air filter
Frame and Miscellaneous
New front and rear vernier isolastic kits, new side stand and spring, New tires and tubes, rebuilt speedo(zeroed) and drive., new seat cover 74/75 waffle pattern, all new cables and rubber parts. Frame stripped and painted with enamel. Most of the chrome is original with minor pitting and scratches. Some bare spots on foot-peg hangers and brake pedal.
Tins
Metal tank, and side covers, amateur base coat/clear coat 74/75 JPN style paint job. Paint is very presentable but not perfect. New gas cap and BAP fuel taps
Gear box and Primary
New roller layshaft bearing, new high gear bearing, cam plate, gaskets and seals, new primary chain
Brakes
Rebuilt caliper and master cylinder, new pads, ss brake line,
Electrical
New ignition switch, turn signals, alternator rotor, Trispark ignition, Podtronics rectifier/zener eliminator, contacts cleaned and wiring harness sorted, all lights and switches work
One or two kick starter, pulls strong, no smoke, rings seated. Minor oil drips Lots of potential with this bike, finish the break-in and a bit of sorting and enjoy riding this summer or redo the cosmetics and have a show bike. The hard work has been done.
