Wait till the bean counters, rivet counters, and cheese head screw aligners get together. Interestingly of all the many vehicle sub-cultures I've infested, the Vespa community the absolute most umm... choose a word that begins with A and ends with L. Next maybe the vintage VW folks. In the end, as the song says, you can't please everyone so you got to please yourself. Just not in public.

Personally I found the Vincent crowd very surprising. One would expect them to be about as knit-picky as it’s possible to get.
But I found them the opposite, lots of them modify their bikes because they actually ride them.

How exactly do you "ode" a Vincent??

Gorgeous bike, other than the mis-aligned fireflakes, lol! The first question for critics is "How is it on your Commando?"
 
Yet another case of DVLA being truly clueless. If anything your bike should have a 1971 registration according to DVLA as the 1971 regs started 1 Aug 1970. Mind you they say they provide an an related plate so it is closely related which for them is a bonus in that they actually issued one.
