Where to buy - Slimline Rear Frame loop

Hi GUys,

I need to get a rear frame loop for my Slimline and saw that they are available at Clubman Racing as well as Unity Equipe. Usually Clubman has competitive prices but their loop is $100 more than Unity's. (Clubman loop is $179, Unity Equipe's is $72). Anybody know if they are the same or is one better than the other?
 
Hey John,
I bought mine from Clubman years and years ago. At the time, it was $99, so it sounds like they've jumped up substantially. That's a real shame.
I'm sure that the Unity one is just as good, but with shipping prices from the UK going up, it may not be that much less.

Unity ones are shite. The tabs aren't even equal. I've told them so on their stand at Stafford, and they are all the same. They said no one had complained before yet I know of two other people personally who also think they're shite. I've got one of their rear alloy mudguards and they're are no better, the back end is all gimped. All the ones on their show stand were the same and when I pointed it out to them they said they'd not noticed before. I think their alloy tanks should be ok though as TAB 11 make them for them and then add a good percentage.

Thanks! Good to know. I wonder if the Clubman ones are different or if they are just reselling the Unity ones?
 
A mate mine made one for me in the end, 3/4 tube bent on a pipe roller with some flats to bolt on to the top of the shock mounts.
 
I have one of those brand new .Was going to use on my Triton,but sold the bike! Are you interested in buying it? I'll come up with a fair price....Skip
