Hi there
Some olders members may remember me, although I do not claim to have left an unforgettable memory.
I'm going to be 74 years old and I'm still alive, broken everywhere but alive.
I still have my MV Agusta Magni and I start riding again on March 30, first small tours in the region to see if everything is okay, not with the bike but with me.
Spring is here, I was going to reopen the swimming pool in the garden. BTW: a swimming pool is, like a woman, very expensive for the little time you spend in it.
This winter I wanted to make a leather jacket from Vanson Leathers USA.
I have sent several emails with no results.
In spite of this, I looked around in Belgium and found Sophie from Motokouture. Sophie works alone in her small workshop, but she is the Tina Turner of leather clothes.
I choose the color and the logos, the MV Agusta logo is made piece by piece in leather, the Magni logo is printed.
The jacket is custom made.
I'm impatiently waiting for March 30th, my right hand is tingling and the horses are jostling at the exit of the MV gear box
Keep you posted
Yves

Love it.

I have two Vanson jackets. And one pants. Each time it was a long lead time. (I go in person)

The e-mail thing was probably a foreign phishing scam blocker. A constant assault, sadly.

That's a very stylish jacket! šŸ˜ŽšŸ

Lookinā€™ good Yves !

And weā€™re all looking forward to more pictures and ride reports of your fabulous MV sirā€¦

There was no phishing, I call Vanson and they confirm receiving my emails.
I buy my first Vanson Manks at a motorcycle shop in Vegas when I was going to lake Havazu for the world championship Jet Ski, must be 1992

Hi Michael,
You should know that I haven't driven the MV since November. I stopped the insurance for the winter and it resumes on March 30.
I hope to regain my driving skills, which is not certain, because age is merciless. Anyway in Belgium there are speed cameras everywhere. The latest invention: bicycle priority streets, if you are in a car or on a motorcycle and there is a cyclist in front of you who is traveling at 10/kmh you must stay behind him.
Next week I'm going to clean the MV, change the oil and filter, and put in new gasoline.
I keep you posted about my test ride.

Yves, great too hear from you again, been way too long, as well the other day I was thinking the same that we haven't heard from you and funny you turn up here a day or 2 later, good to see you back old mate.

Sorry Concours, I dont understand what you mean, also in you other following post, can you explain please

Yves
Lake Havasu is a great boating/party destination.
Supercharged jet boats with big hooters.

I've been twice, the second time with the family.

After that, I was responding to rob ss, he called me out, thinking I was correcting a misspelling. (I wasn't)

I hope that answers questions.

Perhaps rob ss can provide more insight.

Peace. šŸ»

Hi Ashley,
I'm very proud that you care about me. But I plan to live 100 years and ride a motorcycle until I'm 99.
Seriously, my accident has shattered my life and everything is becoming difficult.
I measured the length of all my scars: 5 feet in total.
But I still live at 50%, that's still enough to ride a motorcycle

Good to you my friend

Hi Concours,
Now I understand, also the London Bridge
I was going to Lake Havazu 10 years on a row, last time in 1995.
As team leader I take 4 world champion titels, but this another story
Regards
Yves

...and this morning I got this direct e-mail, which, is a reminder to everyone to be cautious, there are thieves everywhere.

Reference my earlier comment about "under attack" from thieves.

Hi friend,
The story is very long and I don't have time. I'll explain why:
Marina, my beloved wife, suffers from multiple sclerosis and has been in a wheelchair for several years.
Which involves a lot of work for me: When she wakes up in the morning I have to take her out of bed and place her in the wheelchair then I have to put her on the toilet, then I wash and dress her, then I prepare breakfast, then I go shopping, around 2 p.m. I can finally rest, I put Marina in her relax chair and I rest until 5 p.m., then I prepare the evening meal. I have to get her out of her wheelchair 10 times a day. As I am disabled myself, the days are exhausting for me and I hope you understand that I no longer have the strength to spend hours on the computer but you can find my stories on my old treats
Sorry
Yves

Yves, you do not know me but I can feel and hear the love you have for your Marina from the words you wrote. It is very touching to the heart and I commend you for your love and dedication to your wife. I feel for you Yves. Larry.

P.S. I have read most of your ā€œstoriesā€ and I am in awe of you my friend.
