Tympanium and warning lite assimlator

I'm installing a Tympanium on my 73 Commando. The warning light assimlator is in the rectifier circuit. Disconnecting the wires from the alternator also disconnects the assimlator.
Can the assimlator be re-wired along with the Tympanium so the warning light functions, or is it just left to be non-functioning? The tympamnium instructions just show how the capacitor is wired, not the assimlator.

At this point you might be better off installing an LED voltage indicator...some are so small they easily fit within an amber stock bulb holder and they give a lot more information than the OEM assimilator, colors change depending on the voltage (I'm not sure if that is the case for the one in the link size wise though, I used another brand which is NLA)

The guy who sells the A One rectifier Zenor diode replacement kit, warns that if the assimilatior becomes faulty then there is a good chNce that it will take the A One unit with it. He sells the LeD charge indicator for about £20 and it nicely replaces the assimilatior lamp.
 
Have recently fitted the A reg one and the Battery Status Monitor wish I had done so ages ago. The A reg one rated at 200W so easily deals with the RM23 set up. It is also smaller than the Podtronics unit, cheaper and backed up by Al Oz who is highly regarded in his parts and knowledge.
