Does anyone know the color code connections on the turn signal winker relay for an 850 commando. Does anyone know of a good replacement that could be found at an auto supply??? The manual does not make this clear with the 3 connectors. The one under the tank near the coils.---- Also what is the square little metal can near the rectifier do?? Is an emergency flasher and how do you turn it on or test it???

The (circular silver?) three pin item under the tank should be the 3AW charge warning light control assimilator? (White/Brown - warning lamp, Green/Yellow - generator AC, Red - Ground)

The flasher relay is two pin, so is probably the small square unit? White power wire in, and light green/brown out to the handlebar turn signal switch.

assimilator control

Thanks for the help. I do still need to know in what order they are plugged onto the three prongs. It is not marked on the assimoilator. It is not marked in any way I can see. In other words they could be plugged in any order but what is correct. I guess I could take it apart so I could see electronically what pin goes to what but that is a big hassle===Thanks again You all have been a great help---Mark C.
