Is the clutch actuator in a TTI box the same as stock Norton?

I want to know if my cNw hydraulic clutch kit (which fits into a stock Cdo box without any machining etc) would also fit into a TTI box.

Anyone know?

Fast One,

No, the TTI box uses a completely different actuator setup than the Norton/AMC boxes. So no, your hydraulic clutch kit won't fit.
But the good news is, actuation is fantastic with the TTI box so you probably won't miss it.
 
But I just finished a cylinder for my TTI box.
Depending on how it works out I may make a few more. Jim

The original actuator from my TTI gearbox is from a Triumph, You can find a hydraulic kit for Triumph in the UK, by Williams If I remember well and it fit the TTI gearbox

Thanks Yves, that’s also good to know.

However, if Jim can make an actuator that’s fully compatible with my Brembo master cylinder it helps keep things simple.

It’s just an idea at this stage, but I’m thinking to fit a race TTI box (no kickstart) and an electric start to the Trident Hunter when I go 920...
 
Definately as Yves says it is a Triumph actuator, I have spares!

Just be sure that you handlebar lever has sufficient distance at the pivot point!

My nice Domino part didn't...so at the moment I have an old style steel lever fitted to get sufficient clearance on my Norman White clutch.
 
... And the Triumph type actuator and parts are readily available from LPW.

So... how do I go about confirming that one would work well with the Brembo master cyclinder I got with the cNw kit (which I’m keen to keep as it matches the brake master cyl and works very well)?
 
The clutch actuation in the TTI box is much better than standard Norton and cables are very reliable. I have enough trouble maintaining my front brake master cylinder.
 
Fair point Alan. Maybe I’m over thinking this and trying to solve a problem that isn’t there?!

But was SO impressed by my Comnoz / cNw hydraulic clutch when I fitted it to the Cdo, I’m loath to lose it !
