Tracking down a 961's history

Looks like a pretty clean 961 Sport, not a Cafe Racer.

But that description please:
“this British beast of a motorcycle will rip through the curvy mountain roads with ease, leaving the competition in your dust”.
They should also have included something like:
A fiery horse with a speed of light, a cloud of dust, and a hearty ‘Hi-Yo, Silver!

Good question.
Copywriter would have done better to use a different approach like:
Imagine, ripping through the curvy mountain roads with ease, leaving the competition in your dust.
Like a daydream, now I can see that.
I've beaten many of the great GP champs on mountain roads, in my imagination that is.
Certainly possible to do it on a 961 too.
