Last year I bought a PR tank from vintage_classic_parts44 to replace my GRP original. I chose steel rather than alloy thinking that if there were any leaks, it's easier to fix.
Mine was painted in PR yellow with the Norton logo applied. Arrived quite quickly, did not have to pay import tax (which very much surprised me), and the quality was far better than what I had expected. Even the paint is quite good, except for under the petrol cap seal - it does not like our local fuel so it's wrinkling. No leaks though, and even the supplied cap fits quite well. The only complaint I have is that it's difficult to get it to sit correctly with the bottom of the tank aligning with the seat unit (seen from the side, the seat bottom line should flow into the tank bottom line in one long swoop).
Mind you, the PR is a simple shape compared to a Roadster or Interstate tank. The biggest worry with Indian tanks is the variable quality - if they could fix that, there's a huge market for their stuff.
