Would that be a French Tickler then? For the definitive answer to the tickler question I think we would need to see how it is translated in the French version of the Amal user's manual.
I had a dead battery once....That has happened to me before grandpaul.
In your Amal spares box in the attic?Bugger! I can't find the tickler on my Keihin FCRs - anyone know where I should look? (be polite!!)
I think Japanese would be funniest. I’ve seen some hilarious Japanese to English translations before !For the definitive answer to the tickler question I think we would need to see how it is translated in the French version of the Amal user's manual.
It’s the o ring on the fuel valve housing.Bugger! I can't find the tickler on my Keihin FCRs - anyone know where I should look? (be polite!!)
Some people take their tickling very seriouslyBugger! I can't find the tickler on my Keihin FCRs - anyone know where I should look? (be polite!!)
Ain't no ticklers on an FCR, they're a mans carburettor!!Bugger! I can't find the tickler on my Keihin FCRs - anyone know where I should look? (be polite!!)
It’s a serious point though Rob. I only use zero / low ethanol ‘super unleaded’ but these still perished. They’re a unique size, so well worth getting some in stock and checking once in a while. If they start to leak and you‘re using the K&N filter adaptors, you won’t even know, leaking fuel will simply flow into the inlet ports…It’s the o ring on the fuel valve housing.
When that o ring perishes the carbs flood superbly !
Sentir mon doigt..... Pity the innuendo is just lost in translationFor the definitive answer to the tickler question I think we would need to see how it is translated in the French version of the Amal user's manual.
I bought a spot light bar from a well known DIY emporium some years ago. When I wanted another, I googled its product name to try and find a shop that had them in stock.I think Japanese would be funniest. I’ve seen some hilarious Japanese to English translations before !
...of what?Your fingers must smell after a proper 'tickle' has been administered..... A known fact.
The best ones are the ones done by a Mexican who knows a little bit of English, and a little bit of Japanese...I think Japanese would be funniest. I’ve seen some hilarious Japanese to English translations before !
