Your fibreglass rear tail light fairing seems to sit with a gap between it and the rear mudguard (fender)
Is it an optical illusion? How wide it the gap?

Unconventional I know, I'll be fitting either a small 50x25 ish. Waving flag or static raised gel Union Jack on my rear guard

It’s about 3/16 at that end because I had to repair the molded in mounting stud/ bolt. A new one is on my list

Is there not a slight gap there anyway as the moulding face is flat yet the mudguard is curved? Unless mine is a pattern part, perhaps?

Original frame decal 1962 Atlas ....

One can see they were not too careful to align it properly.
