A warning to all, with me having spent too much time in the garage and not enough on paperwork of late my wife decided to tidy things up today while i was at work. All good except the bit where she added up the 2009 spend on m/c parts/servicing.
Oh dear, oh dear , oh dear.

It's been good knowing you.

A buddy got married several years ago and I was talking to his new Wife one day when she asked me how many bikes I had, at the time I had 5 and she said "if you got rid of 4 of them you could get a Wife" and I said "But if I don't get a Wife I can have all the bikes I want". If folks knew how much I spent on old-bikes (and I cared if the knew) there would be "big trouble" in my world.

My wife tends to encourage my hobbies. She finds stuff for me, I'd say she has found me three out of seven bikes. I think I'm lucky she had three brothers so I don't look all that bad.

It does'nt seem to matter what venue it is, it's the same story. I worked on Porsche's for 30 years, if a single guy had a Porsche a girl would show up to pick him up, after awhile he would ask do you know of a good MB, or BMW sedan or wagon I could buy, you knew the end was near, it would'nt be too far down the road the Porsche would be gone.

So far I've been able to hold onto my toys although play money has been restricted. Once the wife goes back to work it might get better.

I do get to remind her that I did sell a Corvette to buy her wedding ring, but that only goes so far.

Hmmm - Perhaps my tactics need to improve, i have occasionaly been known to remind that the Norton has been around longer
