According to my Smiths list, RSM 3003/06 was fitted to various 1965-69 BSA B44, A50 and A65 models.

RSM 3003/00 (8,000 RPM, 2:1 clockwise drive) for 1968 N15, N15CS, 650SS, Atlas, 1969 Mercury and P11A Ranger with a BG 1508/05 1:1 reversing drive gearbox.

Hi Les,
I'm looking for one to buy but I haven't found it yet.
If in the while I use that of the BSA ratio 3 to 1 what would corresponde 1000 rpm?
Thank you.

If I have worked it out correctly, a 3:1 rev counter connected to a 2:1 drive would read 50% fast.

Smiths list is wrong, B44 tacho is 4:1. They corrected the error for 1970, the tacho drive was first fitted in 1969 to B44 and B25 and other than a change to the method of attaching the cable remained the same until the end of the B50 in 72/73.

Km/h SSM 3001/01A was used on various mid-to-late 60s Matchless and Norton models (mostly twins) including 99, 650, Atlas, N15 etc.

With the exception of the G80CS it was BG5330/257 which is 2:1, reversing.
