I did a search but I could not find the exact inside diameter I need to have to fit the Honda oil seal on a tach drive on my 1975. Can someone post it?
Thanks

It's listed in the INOA tech digest pg 1-29.
I like the listed 2450 better. Got 10 of them. They were $2.50 ea
Been shown and demonstrated a few times in past tech sessions.
It has been a while since I did my last production run of conversions.

Thanks, I have the Tech Digest, guess I missed, ( or forgot), that tech session. I fixed mine about fifty thousand miles ago and it just started leaking again on the Rally trip.
NO mechanical issues on the Rally trip, lots of rain, and a really cold 151 mile ride on the last day on the road.
I wont forget the grease Bob.

I'd guess over the years you were only at about 20% of the tech sessions.
I'd be curious to try -107 quad-x orings @ about 15 cents a piece when bought in bulk. Better than a plain oring?
They would likely work on early and late style housings. However the machining of the housings might need to be a bit more precise than for a hammer in seal. The thrust surface is pretty much machined away for either the honda or CR seal, but remains for the quad X.

Well, you definitely have a few bikes to experiment on !
I have the seal, now just have to get the housing machined, I don't think it would be a good idea to use a drill bit?
