thanks for that L.A.B. I have borrowed a manual now and have been slowly working through the strip down in the spare hours I have.
I did take the cam pinions off, the cams seem to have a few ridges. But the whole engine needs to be cleaned out as water and oil mix seems to have laid dormant for years. somebody has been in there as the pistons are brand new, the end of the crank has been whacked with a hammer and little witness things that are a bit bodgy. are these cams as good as the e #### that most people refer to for a triumph rebuild. I am fitting this into a Rickman mk 3 scramble frame. can you recommend anybody in the Uk for a bit of head work or should I leave as standard. I like a bit of mid range power, and reliability.
