With the additional functionality of preventing the forks from flopping around!

But to be honest, you can't beat a piece of timber with two holes in it as a 'special tool'.

So much stuff is overthought

Engine stand, 2 pieces of 2" aluminium angle, drill 2 holes, done

FFS. What would be wrong with a length of 5/16 steel rod, going through the lower bolt holes, rubber hose at the ends and cable tied to the frame. Quick and easy. Shit its only temporary. Why go to so much trouble to make the jig mentioned above. Some people must have more time on their hands and more money than sense.

or a metal coat hanger between the front ISO mounts and the cradle. Works fine as long as you dont want to sit on it.

If you use a sturdy coat hangar wire, you can sit on it and even bounce around as you roll it from the front driveway back around to the shop over several grade changes, rocks, etc. I've done it at 145#... No need for fancy brackets, and virtually free in 2 minutes flat. (and if you bent it carefully, looks completely photogenic, too)

Thanks everyone for your input. Sorry if I irritated some about not supporting our vendors by purchasing everything from them. I appreciate the work they do to produce good products and have bought a lot of items over my forty years of Commando ownership.
