Needing to warm the bike up ahead of a gearbox oil change, thought I'd try out the SW-Motech ION M tailbag I bought a few weeks ago to grab a bit of shopping from Tesco. Never an exciting experience.

Once there, the bag will just swallow my size ML AGV X3000 & gloves rather than carting them around a packed weekend supermarket.

A tight fit, but I could have increased the capacity a little by unzipping the sides outwards...

Here's an idea of what it will take (other products are available ;))...

I think it's a great bag that I hope to test on a long weekend break soon. It seems durable and with enough space for what I need and doesn't look too bad on the bike. The annoying strapping system is it's biggest let down for me. Far too fiddly and I know if I was taking this bag off & on the bike regularly I would end up frustrated. I wish they'd have fitted beefier clip in straps used on most other soft luggage. Much less hassle.

Sun is out. Commando running well & quoffing a nice filter coffee with Steely Dan blasting through the hi-fi while I let the last of the old gearbox oil drip out.

Good times đź‘Ť

Warburtons Extra Thick toastie would be my preferred choice but its no longer stocked everywhere

Luckily I have Tebay Farm shop a few miles away so the Cumberland sausage's, smoked bacon and black pudding are taken care of.
