A full nut is almost as good as a set ! Sorry could not leave that last post standing unnoticed ...

I remember my mother using Pledge in the 1960's, some things never change, that and Brasso which is still great for polishing Lucas indicator and tail light lens.

I converted an early frame that I bought to fit my bent 1972 Roadster one. From memory I had to remove the cross tube under the frame and fabricate a new one further forward to which I attached the later side stand bracket, remove the original side stand bracket, weld on a lower lock stop tab on the steering head, fabricate and reposition a steering lock tab at the top of the steering head and have a machine shop bore the steering head bearing bores deeper to correspond with the narrower distance between the sealed headstock bearings. it was not a very easy conversion and the machining of the headstock wasn't cheap.
